"Before he became king – Bolesław the Brave in the territory of the Cherven Towns"

As part of school activities, the "Academy of Mystery Researchers and Treasure Discoverers" will be held from September 22nd to 26th, a series of lectures and living history lessons in five primary schools in the Lubaczów district. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a lecture with a presentation on "The Lubaczów Land during the Rule of the Piast Dynasty," a living history lesson on the material culture of the 11th century, archaeological and historical workshops with artifact presentations and work with sources, as well as visits to the games room, a room with board games and miniatures dedicated to the Middle Ages, and a mobile escape room with puzzles related to Bolesław Chrobry's path to the crown.
On Sunday, September 28th, a field game combined with a reenactment picnic will take place. The start and finish line are planned for Castle Hill in the Lubaczów Castle and Park Complex. This family-friendly field game will be dedicated to Bolesław the Brave's expedition to Kiev and his presence in the Cherven Towns. Participants will seek out the activity stations, where they will complete interesting and informative tasks and gather information needed to solve the final puzzle. After the game, the picnic will feature historical reenactment stations, presenting various aspects of the material and spiritual culture of Bolesław the Brave's era.
